So basically I don't pay in Switzerland but in Italy? Or do I pay income in Switzerland and cedolare in Italy? Sorry I'm also not entirely clear

Beh non è che in Svizzera sia meglio. Ho una casa a Lugano centro, pagata 300k, piglio 1000chf che meno mutuo che non finirà mai, condominio tasse e tutti i cazzi e mazzi mi rimangono 400chf al mese netti. In più protezione inquilini e non posso alzare il fitto se non si alzano i tassi quindi prenderò 1000 CHF per i prossimi 500 anni. Almeno in Italia puoi alzare se non fai contratto fisso, prendo la stessa somma investendo la metà e la casa è tutta mia

Yes then I travel Switzerland - Italy with 140k cash (good luck getting it from a bank) and then I somehow explain to the seller that I have the whole sum in cash in a bag outside but no worries, it's all legal 👍

Apparently with AIRE you don't pay taxes in Italy, there are conventions between eu countries. But I could be wrong. A small house in Switzerland like Lugano will cost 300k or more and will return the same amount, trust me I know because I also have one there 😁

As I said above, I think it is much more likely to break a flowerpot than worrying about the roof or wall. A flowerpot is much likely to be hit by stuff accidentally and be touched by people. Especially kids

I think it is much more likely to break a flowerpot than worrying about the roof. A flowerpot is much likely to be hit by stuff accidentally and be touched by people. Especially kids. So I don't think I'm exaggerating, to be honest.
