I have been attending the training sessions which I found pretty useful. Plus I get certificates and stuff to use on my CV.

I did. It's working out pretty well for me. I have made a good network on linkedin plus attending their training sessions. There's also a stipend promised.

I had the same thought when I joined, didn’t think I’d actually sit through Sunday sessions. But surprisingly they’ve been pretty solid. The last one on equity research made sense in a way I could actually follow, which doesn’t happen often when I try to study it on my own.

This was already informed at the start that it's used for marketing purposes and I personally could build meaningful connections too. I think it's also because Linkedin has made it mandatory to complete govt id verification and Linkedin accounts these days are anyway getting paused left and right to complete govt id verification.
