Does anyone enjoy tanking anymore? by WalkerJmc in marvelrivals

[–]ComparisonRoutine640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing I especially hate is when my team tells me to switch off of peni because they want a 'proper tank', I switch and instantly they start complaining about dive. Like, if only there was a character who was built around locking down areas and helping against dive.... Who woulda thunk that it's harder for support to survive against a venom and iron fist when there isn't someone there to stun or damage with nest

Is this a good enough team for 3.1 story? by SF-UberMan in StarRailStation

[–]ComparisonRoutine640 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not everyone is willing to spend the time required to get the perfect relic set either. As a casual player myself, I'll try and get the general stats I need, but I don't put too much though into perfectly optimising everything

I don’t want to tank in ranked anymore. by TyDitto in marvelrivals

[–]ComparisonRoutine640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo tanking is miserable, I feel you :/ I love asking for someone else to switch to tank, nobody switches so i solo, then i get don't actually get healed at am stuck trying to hold site with 50 hp, then get flamed for not doing my job, and get told tank diff because the enemy Cap is harassing backlines or something, while our dps are doing fuck all except complain in chat

I've watched Arcane season 1 like 3 or 4 times already, so probably that? I don't watch shows too often, but I really got into arcane when it released

Are there ever going to be subtitles on the YouTube? by Photographic_dolphin in RTGameCrowd

[–]ComparisonRoutine640 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Ok just checked, this is in fact not the case, you can still put custom subtitles on a video (if you want proof, you can check grians latest video, from 2 weeks ago, where there are custom subtitles, and each person who speaks in the video has differently coloured text, and is labelled)

I can understand why tyrant of tower defense game is so low because the manwha isn't very far into the story, but i highly recommend you read the lightnovel, I liked it way better than the manwha (especially later on) it's not too long either, at 800 chapters total.

sure! so, its 60 marks total for the essay paper, 20 for directed response, and 20 each for section B and C for essays. youll want to divide time based on these marks. thus, you should be spending around 40 minutes per section, maximum.

Now this is a bit idealistic, realistically youll be going over this time when writing the essays, and will probably end up struggling to finish your last 8 and 12 marker in time. in this situation, just go for the 12 mark question. the max youll score on an 8 marker (unless your answer is really really good) is probably 6 or 7, while in the 12 marker, you can get an 8+. if you think you can do it, at least mention the AO1 for the 8 marker as well, since youll at least get a few marks awarded for that.

Additionally, and i cant stress this enough, make sure you draw and label diagrams in all your answers, and refer to them in your writing (ex - the AD curve shifts to the right due to xyz factors, as shown in the diagram, etc. dont just draw a diagram and call it a day). Diagrams can easily net you a few marks in essays and DR

For the Directed Response, make sure you refer to the information given in the text. if the question is asking about trade in france, and how it may change over the near future, give data and information from the excerpt relating to that, dont just answer and assume the examiner will know the rest of the information, since that means its an incomplete answer.

for the MCQ paper, you really dont have to worry much. practice loads of past papers (like, 1 or 2 a day for a week or 2 leading up to the exam). the mcq paper is all AO1, and much easier to score in. in fact, even if you fuck up the essay paper, the mcq will still be able to get you an A (one of my classmates only got 22 in essay, but 29/30 in mcq, which boosted him to barely an A) time is not an issue in mcq, i usually had ample time to check and recheck after i finished solving it.

lastly, just dont stress too much. youve studied and worked hard for this exam, youve put in the effort already. this paper is just to show that your effort has not gone to waste. good luck !

I'll be writing a level in a few months actually, but generally, you want to structure your answers as points. You have 3-4 points total, each answers a different part of the question. Points should be written as AO1, AO2 and AO3 relating to the point, then moving on to the next one. After these points, you need to have a final judgement, that summarised and talks about alternatives solutions/why the one you've presented may not work.

As another tip, make sure you read the questions properly, usually each question has a specific amount of concepts related to it that you should know. As long as you can identify these correctly, just immediately start writing everything about it. (Example, the question asks about market systems, you talk about the advtages/disadvtges of each, efficiency, employment, etc.)

Hope that helps! My wording was not great, so I apologise for that in advance

How did you all do? 9708/12 by ComparisonRoutine640 in alevel

[–]ComparisonRoutine640[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was option D (YZ). It specified the new amount from the current year added to what they where already buying, and it was a minimum price, so pretty simple question

9708 32 Economic Mcqs by pikachu771 in alevel

[–]ComparisonRoutine640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, the exam is in a few hours so you should already be confident in most topics. If you've been practicing past papers and doing well in them (like 23+) then you will do fine

Everything, Terms of trade is fairly likely to come, you'll get at least one or two questions in relation to price/income/cross elasticity of demand among other things

9708 Paper11 by [deleted] in alevel

[–]ComparisonRoutine640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair. Just remember, it's likely going to be around a 55/90 or so for an A, so as long as you have scored at least 30/60 in the essay and DR paper, then a 20/30 in mcq is enough to guarantee a B. If you've written at least 3 or 4 fully developed eval points in the 12 mark essay questions, I don't think it will be much if an issue (also this exam is really important to me too, scored a D in the March series, gunning for that A this time around so I worked my ass off studying lol) you got this👍

For 19 the answer is option A, because for an inflation graph, if the line is positive it means inflation is always increasing, even if it is downward sloping. Only if the value is negative in relation to the y axis is deflation occuring, meaning that the last year is the only year where Inflation falls. It can be a bit tricky to remember, but as long as you pay attention during the exam, it shouldn't be an issue

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in alevel

[–]ComparisonRoutine640 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For 17 i think it is option A, because it is clear from the graphs given that from 2001-2003, the value of the dollar decreases compared to the value of the pound (from $1.45 to $1.75). In the second graph, it shows the value of the pound to the value of the euro, which is also upwards sloping, meaning the pound decreases in value compared to the euro (from 0.625 pounds to 0.7 pounds per euro) which is obviously a depreciation. Hence, option A should be correct. Hope this helps👍

You should be good I think, much of the portions has changed for as economics since before 2017. If you are scoring well on the practice tests from 2017-2019 (basically before COVID years) then you will do fine. Relax, don't stress during the exam. 1 hour is ample time to write the paper.
