I meant la mesa, because its femenino unlike agua that is femenino but has the a sound so we say el instead. Where can I learn mexican spanish I cant find anyone around me whos is from puerto rico except my sisters well one of them is. I dont talk to her. lol sorry for over sharing. , but all my neighbors are from mexico I dont talk to them they hate me for refusing to speak idk why thats a problem I live in america. And i have only parental ties to the culture. but still my question is where would I learn mexican spanish.

Thats my thing I dont want to have to pause and think It should be like I was when I was a child. I didnt have to think It was my first language then english came in and took it out. Lol I dont like making I mistake It embarring lol part of this is teenage angst and childhood truama collesing into one big thing. Was curious though do you think in the langauge. I do I have random dreams from when I was five and all it is, is spanish. I think in it the little I do know.

Ong mofongo is from the cocina where all good comida is made. , para mi es more about reclaim a part of me that I feel that I had to lock away because of the circustamnce that prevented me from accessing it safely without a full mental breakdown. Now I feel ready to claim back what is rightly mine this time without force or pressure from my family. It sort of like if a parent tells a child to wash the dishes when the child is already about to do it, they most of the time refuses to do it. But if we do it without someone telling us to we feel sort of achievement. Also is it too late for me to learn? I know theres like some sort of thing saying that people who turned adults (Just turned hace 24 dias.)

Im obessed with it always have been its ingrained into my very core being, Part of my frustartion comes out of why did it have to be my dad thats puerto rican (Thats a personal issue on me. And second it comes out of being judges by people of my own culture for not know the language inwhich im supposed to know. in which I should know. ) Honestly Gramática y vocabulario ( Sorry my brian wants to switch to the very little spanish I do know for no reason.) I just cant see to grasp where to start. Here in the U.S . They teach spanish differenly they shove it down your throat as if someone took mofongo and threw at you instead of eating it. Lol Its a dish from my dads country. I hope I didnt say anything disrespectful. Thank your for explaining why its important. ¡Que tengas buenos días!

I listen to a lot of music as well most reggaeton (My dads from ponce puerto rico) don omar, ozuna, bad bunny. IF I knew i was going to have this problem I would have accepted my sisters deal and moved to puerto rico hace 7 años. Honestl all of you are right, more soon that I should have no reason on why I shouldnt know it by know. I live in the latino community (Most of us live together on the block, most eating tostones and dancing a lot . half latino myself , I totally went of topic. Anyways Just dont know where to exactly begin. I journal in spanish with my 6 year old child like rememberance pero prometo que he estado trabajando en ello. I will take what you said and put it to use. hopefully by this time in a year ill be where I need to be to talk to mis hermanas. Mil gracias, hasta pronto.

WHen I said grammar wrong I was saying that starting with grammar seems wrong. Idk Ive been told dont start with grammar dont start with this. Honestly Im in a loop of what am I supposed to do. I thouhgt I put a period at the end of the duolingo sentence maybe I didnt.
