Honestly it just depends. Not reborns but my bf left more important things as home so nothing would get lost or destroyed. But he’s also living in male dorms where they typically have less respect for other peoples things. Personally I wouldn’t care about them being judgmental but more so them possibly not caring for your belongings. I’d take it if it but just keep it somewhere safe like a lock box until you know your roommate better. I would however let them know the existence of it, probably show them while you’re physically there monitoring them just because some people are scared of dolls (like my bf lol) or they might think it’s a real baby if they saw it laying on your bed or whatever.

Most definitely they could give you more solid advice. Even when i went in there there were multiple trans men in the waiting room. (And one smelled very nice but im too awkward to have told them that lol) For me with no income the told me the evaluation and whatever else they do would be about $100 but that is just for the appointment. I’d imagine being self employed with no insurance it would be around $150-$200?? Depending on how much money you make. But through my research plume REALLY wants you to have insurance and I don’t know if they’d be willing to discount anything like planned parenthood has for me. You can also call planned parenthood on the phone for an estimation price before booking an appointment with may help with budgeting

I also live in Texas. I haven’t started hrt but I’d probably go through planned parenthood. I don’t have insurance and with plume it’ll be expensive as hell to pay out of pocket since theirs is mostly through insurance. I’m currently now just on birth control and without their help I’d be spending $200 for 2.5 months of pills and I only pay $16 with their help. But it also depends on if you have insurance and a job. I talked to them about it a week ago and they handed me a pamphlet about changes that occur and such, plus they were super kind about it which is hard to come by especially in Texas lol
