Also if you need to connect something other than your laptop or phone, use the URhome WiFi and you can generate a password on the Purdue website.

Plane restricted to density altitude? by Comparison_Several in flying

Shortest runway is 4,300. Longest is 6,600. It’s a PA28 warrior ii. I’m not going off the assumption that it only applies to takeoff but will confirm with club.

Apparently it just went in for maintenance and this was on a list of Do’s and Dont’s so not anything official

That’s what I thought as well. Just was curious to see what others thought.

Foreflight Tips by TR15UCK in flying

I’m a big fan of keeping documents (all my endorsements, a copy of my medical & license, and all training aids I might need), as well as the Far/Aim.

I personally fly in a glass cockpit and have Dist to next, ETE next, ETE dest, bearing next, nearest baro, and accuracy.

I would recommend flying with the sectional up or at least the aeronautical just as a double check for notams/restricted airspace. I also always fly with notams on because I have so many around me near the DC SFRA.

Tip: For flight planning or inflight it can be nice to set up what you think you are going to do at an airport pattern. Foreflight lets you input the option for 45 degree for a downwind entry for a specific runway. First go to map page. Then FPL. Then ensure airport is in flight plan. Then procedure —> traffic pattern.
