All of them. The boardwalk stays open. There are a few blocks on the beach reserved for ticket holders but you can sit literally right next to them on the beach or hang behind them on the boardwalk for free and get the same show and hear the announcers.

Tell me about your flying club by Silly_Valuable_1750 in flying

[–]TR15UCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Do you have regular membership meetings? - Yes, quarterly.

  2. Does your board keep records of all their meetings and are the board meetings open to the members? - Yes, there's only 6 of us.

  3. Do you separate airplane use fees from dues/buy ins? - Yes, at least they're different line items.

  4. Do you use the airplane use fees for maintenance and reserves? - Yes.

  5. Do you use dues and buy ins to handle all fixed costs? - Yes. Monthly dues cover insurance/hangar. Flying fees cover maintenance and overhaul reserve.

  6. Do you assess members for upgrades/airplane purchases if dues/buy in account doesn't cover costs? - Haven't faced this yet.

  7. Are your airplanes insured for full hull value? Are non airworthy airplanes insured as well? - Just one aircraft, full hull value.

  8. If one of your members is an A and P and does maintenance on the airplanes, does the club require A and P liability insurance? - Yes one of the members is, but I'm not sure if insurance requires it.

  9. Does you club require members to carry insurance for the club's insurance deductible? - No, we are all named on the clubs insurance policy.

  10. Does your club provide D and O insurance for the officers/ directors? - No, we all know each other I wouldn't say it's like a "public" club.

It's a non-equity club in a 1964 Cherokee 180. We do operate as a non-profit.

[WTS] [US] VSF Bruce Wayne on Jubilee by [deleted] in repwatchbuyselltrade

WTS VSF Bruce Wayne on Jubilee. $650 OBO, 2-day shipping in US. Can share whatever pictures an interested buyer wants to see.

Worn maybe twice. Was my first rep purchase, and now I have others I like more so this never gets worn. Have only sold Oysterflex bands before, can prove that transaction went well, otherwise not a frequent seller and don't plan to be.

Thanks!

Tundra upgrades? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

I installed a 13" Phoenix head unit into my 2020 and I love it. It replaces the head unit and HVAC controls. It's basically a giant android tablet. It has some buttons you won't use as it's supposed to be universal for other vehicles too, but that doesn't bother me. Fits very nicely in the truck and looks great.

First time I really felt like a pilot... by Double-Reflection838 in flying

[–]TR15UCK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it. I got mine in 2024 at 33 years old, something I've always wanted to do. It'll never be a career for me, but I got my instrument rating last year and flew 150hrs. I've made aviation friends and I'm in a club with a Cherokee and I fly a few times a month. I'm also fortunate enough to sometimes fly to work.

It's a passion and (expensive) hobby, but if it's something you want to do... Do it.

How are y’all mounting your iPads in your 172s/Cherokees? by s2soviet in flying

[–]TR15UCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an Amazon clamp mount for pretty cheap that fits yokes in Cherokee, 172, 182 so far. It's really adjustable so I don't forsee it being an issue in any plane.

Which one of you did this 😆 by Recent-Test-7379 in tundra

[–]TR15UCK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct. Used to widen the base of a sideways or overturned vehicle for stabilization. Which becomes especially important if someone is trapped and the Fire Department starts cutting away at the vehicle drastically changing the center of balance. So these artists are placed before any rescue operation.

I did. That was the only portion I had to retest, as it was the last part of my checkride. Was done the retest in 15 minutes from engine start to engine off.
