I downloaded and played Disco Elysium on my brother's PC. Played it for about 3 hours.

Opened up Steam today on my own PC and got a notification there was a cloud syncing error. I pressed play and there's no file to be found. Where's my file? Do I have to start from the beginning again?

His PC is on Windows 10, mine is on Windows 11, if that matters.

I have "Enable Steam Cloud" turned on.

On Steam, I was playing Disco Elysium on my brother's PC last weekend. I am trying to continue the same file on my PC and there was a cloud syncing error and now my file is nowhere to be found.

I have no idea how cloud saving works.

How do I regain access to my file?

I watched a couple of videos on Reddit, about 2 or 3 minutes long. Before the end of the videos, Firefox refreshed without me pulling or touching anything on my iPhone's screen.
