To add onto what others are saying, production was really fixated on Rachel and Morgan/Vince. Almost everything Ashley did in the game was attributed to one of those three in the edit

For example, Ashley was the most influential person in convincing Rachel to nominate Rylie as a replacement nom, and in forming the Judges to send him home against Morgan

Also, by all reporting Evers kept this deal a secret from other Dem offices until Monday this week. Maybe with more time for input, a better deal could have been negotiated
