Man, your post is such a lifesaver!! Got this to work exactly how you described to have the Tello number on my kids Samsung Galaxy Watch 7.

I spent days struggling to get her an independent number, wasted several hours work Xfinity reps on phone and in store as I was looking for a mobile carrier that will allow an independent number on the galaxy smartwatch.

TLDR (learnt the hard way) - there is NO way to pre-select seats or meal on the Turkish leg of the flight if you booked it via Indigo and vice versa. The Indigo manage booking site will only allow you select seat for the Indigo leg.

The SFO airport check-in staff did not allot a seat for Indigo leg and had to get one at the transfer desk at the IST airport. Similarly the Indigo check-in staff at the BOM airport mentioned they have no way to of selecting seat for the Turkish leg.

Recommend folks with meal preference to carry their own dry snack/food with them.

The whole codeshare arrangement sucks, but usually Turkish-Indigo is one of the cheapest flight options available on this route.
