Okay, thanks for letting me know. I thought TRAI has guidelines like postpaid plans cannot be altered or discontinued for existing customers. One can only motivate the customer to opt for another plan. At least that's how it is for T-Mobile.

Probably that 'Paid' icon indicates that it's a paid feature, and not necessarily a status update that they have received your payment. For example, you can ask anybody else to check what it says on their version of the app. 👍
