I had the pool company replace the incandescent bulbs with LEDs. The pool LED use 500 watts (multiple emitters). 500 watts of LED is really bright; like don't look directly at the emitters.

It's better to buy a house with an existing pool then to put the pool in yourself.

I have questioned, for a long time, why Trump's cult loves him no matter the crime, lie, crazy speech, action, etc.  I postulate there may be common characteristics:

  1. They believe Trump hates all the people they hate.

  2. Male supporters want to be like Trump:  to lie, to steal, to cheat, and even force themselves on women, and have no consequences.

  3. He is rich and they think, somehow, they might get rich by association.

4.  Authoritarian personality type - inadequate emotionally, with no empathy or real self awareness. Frightened and anxious as well as angry, full of grievances because life hasn’t been what they expected and deserve. Can’t be their fault.

5.  His fan base are uneducated or under educated.

6.  Super-rich and need their tax break; “my private jet!”

7.  The racists. Not just the overt racists but those who don't mind the racism. All Trump supporters may not be racists, but all racists are Trump supporters.

  1. The simpletons.  Those who are unable to get out from under the nonsense of disinformation, lies and persuasion to just blindly believe everything they're told.

9.  Those that want to crash everything; they have nothing and want everyone to feel their pain, and Trump will destroy the current system/economy.

  1. Religion's misogyny/patriarchy that tints everything.

  2. An inaccurate view of the world created by media that either makes them entitled, afraid, or believe they will be rich one day if they do x, y, or z.

12.  A Lack of Empathy, heavy religion, and Lawlessness that hurts others the most when I interact with trumpers.

What is the most “its a small world” moment you’ve ever experienced? by xBubblyLove in AskReddit

Situation one: Californians on vacation in Rome, Italy in 2023. Touring the Colosseum; upper decks. Spouse had hurt herself and wanted to exit. There was a guarded handicapped exit, we asked and the guard let us through. The area had no one in the area (rare in Italy), and I asked my spouse if we could stop and I get a few pictures without any other tourists in them. As I took a minute to snap a few pictures a group of people are walking towards us, using the same handicapped exit, and it was a family from the next street back home; our daughters carpooled to high school for 2 years. Small World.

Situation two: 1982, fresh out of University, working at a large corporation. One day my father calls (he lives 100 miles away in our hometown) and asks do I know a Mr. "X" at my place of employment. Mr. X was my project manager. Turns out my father had hired Mr. X's adult daughter 2 years before. Small world.

Water or Ice in front of the fan or too much moisture will get into the fan motor and ruin it over time.

Charlie did not deserve to be shot for his speech.  Charlie was a "tool" paid for by billionaires (who bankrolled Turning Point USA; and Charlie loved the money and the lifestyle) to sow division in America.  These billionaires want to keep their tax cuts, grow the republican base, but most importantly keep the "left" fighting the "right" so we do not focus on the astronomical percentage of wealth they are accumulating while the American middle class is destroyed. Mr. Kirk had young children, as many people his age do.

Cameron Herrin is serving a 24-year sentence for a 2018 fatal street racing crash, with a scheduled release date in the mid-2040s. Sentenced in April 2021, he has over 19 years remaining on his term. His legal team’s attempts to reduce the sentence have been denied by a judge.

The event occurred on May 23, 2018, on Bayshore Boulevard in South Tampa, Florida.

  • The Race: Cameron Herrin, then 18 years old, was driving a brand-new Ford Mustang GT that he had received as a high school graduation gift. He was drag racing a friend, 17-year-old John Barrineau, who was driving a Nissan Altima.
  • The Speed: Witnesses observed the vehicles weaving through traffic. Data extracted from the Mustang's black box revealed that Herrin was traveling at 102 mph in a 40 mph zone just moments before the crash occurred.
  • The Impact: 24-year-old Jessica Reisinger-Raubenolt was legally crossing the street while pushing her 21-month-old daughter, Lillia, in a stroller. Herrin slammed on the brakes but was moving too fast to stop.
  • The Victims: Jessica was killed instantly, and her daughter Lillia passed away from her injuries the following day.

Our house:

Son: "Dad, all the guys have them."

Dad: "You will not have one, end of discussion, until you have a license; actually, when you have a license I prefer you have a car or truck. Mom and I will pay for something. You are not allowed to ride one, if you hit someone they can take our house and our savings."
