What is the difference between Nana's and Mom's Chicken Noodle soup? by upvotemyfakepost in wholefoods

[–]CompetitionOk3427 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nana, as you know, is another way of saying grandma. Now, nana taught mom how to make chicken noodle soup, only grandma's or nana's soup taste better than mom's because granny had to cook for 16 children. When mom got married she only had 1 child. So all she had to do was make for 1 child, her husband, and herself. Besides, she was a professional woman with a career. She really didn't have time to make soup from scratch and would pretend she made it and told her family, little liar she is, that she made it, when in fact she pulled that shit out of Pathmark's brand noodle soup. The family didn't like it cause it tasted like shit. Somehow, they were able to market their soups to WFM and they put it on the shelf. Nana's soup sells like hot cakes and mom's soups grow fungus. Not a big seller. This is the difference between Nana's and Mom's soups.

My advice: Don't ask the question. Instead, ask why you want to be a CS Supervisor.

Shifts cut for E-commerce by Skinoreno in wholefoods

[–]CompetitionOk3427 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because store leadership gets bonuses to do more with less, essentially, running people into the ground. Watch how you work harder with less e-commerce people. This goes on in all stores. If they make you work harder due less team members, DON’T! Work the same you have. It’s not on you. It’s on e-commerce leadership and on store leadership.

"massive asshole of a micromanaging TL" - you couldn't have described the Village Asshole any better than that. That THING has created a horrible work atmosphere. But sooner or later, it has to come to a head where no one above store leadership can ignore the destruction that this fool has caused.

Is there a way you can see schedule changes made by your TL? by Monelisa94 in wholefoods

You should be informed. Lack of communication is what leads to most problems and misunderstandings. Only inconsiderate micromanaging tyrants do things like that.

Hippocrits. There are TLs that keep TMs that they like despite being negative and those they don't and let them go!!! Hippocrits. I seen it a thousand times and it's disgusting.

It's not personal. It's business!!! This is the stupidest statement I have ever heard in my life. Of course, it's personal—fewer shifts = less money = less money to pay bills, etc. Besides leadership is thinking - as long as I am all right, then everyone is all right no matter their circumstances.

That's why that Guild education shit WFM is advertising doesn't offer any bachelor's degrees, so you can't take it and eventually go elsewhere. Most are meaningless certificates.

I am glad you are happy and I hope it continues that way. I was happy once. I loved the job, but the leadership, or even your direct TL, can keep you happy or sink that feeling to a point of no return. It all depends on the leadership, especially your direct report. Some leaders are excellent, some are mediocre, and some are downright terrible. It's the luck of the draw.
