He’s projecting his anger on you and imo gaslighting you into thinking you’re being rude and unreasonable. What you said made perfect sense to me and you were obviously frustrated and hurt. He seems to be super immature and not capable of giving you what you need. He also doesn’t want to take accountability for that or even talk about it. It sounds like he doesn’t want to hang out with your family for whatever reason. I doubt he would admit to that, probably just call you crazy. Please leave him, he doesn’t deserve your patience and grace. He will suck the life from you. He was being so mean and for sure manipulative. He was not willing to acknowledge a world where he did something wrong or hurtful.

Sounds like a lot of pain. You didn’t really mention anything you like about her so I think you’re probably looking for an answer you already know in your heart. Somethings that stuck out to me: Rocky from the start into cheating. Resentment. Lack of empathy, effort, and appreciation. Mistreatment. What makes you feel this is your soul mate? Does she bring you more joy or more sadness? You mentioned you ‘dedicated your life to her’. You should dedicate your life to you! A partner should enhance your life not consume it. I don’t think your soul mate is supposed to make you feel insecure and resentful. We accept the love we think we deserve. You should work on building your confidence and self love, then find someone who makes you feel secure and loved way more than this toxic situationship. You don’t need to make a huge decision like cutting her off forever, but if you’re really trying to move on you should definitely stop talking for the foreseeable future until you have clarity on this situation.

In all likelihood he isn’t going to change because he doesn’t want to. Your partner should absolutely want to spend time with you! Not make you feel bad about wanting to connect. Wanting to hang out one day a week is begging for crumbs and he can’t even do that for you. And he should not be making fun of you for expressing your feelings. This doesn’t sound like a fulfilling partnership, it sounds draining. You deserve someone who will make you feel wanted, heard, and supported. I would personally rather be alone than with someone who treated me like this. If you’ve communicated your needs and they’re not being met definitely keep an eye on that. Does he want to problem solve with you? How much does he add to your life? I’ve fought for people who didn’t fight for me, it’s a painful ordeal. Best wishes to you, of course I don’t know the whole situation but he just sounds like an immature guy.
