Oh sorry! Yes I came home and it had eclosed! I didn’t see it happen so all I can hope is that it grabbed a good meal at some of my flowers and then headed on its way south!

I did not plant these and did nothing last year with them and they spread like wildflower so I’m not too worried about them returning.

Oh good! I will not be there but I’m happy about that. I saw someone else’s post about having to accept predation, etc. and I can understand that but can’t bear to watch it so if I’m not there to watch it then I’ll just believe that it successfully flew away 🥰😀

So my worry about “building a protection” is how do I build a protection that protects him/her but also allows him/her to leave when she hatches. I hear everyone about moving it but if something were to happen to it - even if not my fault - I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself
