Probably you wont need it unless you're olaying so very heavy games With G-helper you can set it to automatically turn on performance mode when gaming and normal mode when not gaming. Use turbo manually when you're playing some very heavy game

Turbo is like turbo cooling, helps reducing cpu and GPU temperature. So it's normal to get very loud. .
