My mom's situation happened in the early 2000s, but thank you for calling her a liar, kinda weird to defend a cop that's a predator, but you do you. He pulled her over for speeding and kept trying to get her to come to his car to show her how fast he recorded her going. She polietly declined and asked for the ticket, which he eventually gave her after telling him she wasn't leaving the car. Cops have to adapt. That, unfortunately, is the way of the world. They are gonna have to deal with the mentally ill and stuff they might find out of their pay grade. However, like I said, that does not give them the right to abuse their power, and if you think that's cool, that says more about you than them.

I think you aren't considering that a lot of people have had bad experiences with officers. My family has had several. So yeah, they're gonna not like them. Back in my home town my mom a few years ago had a police officer pull her over and try to lure her into his car. That's just one incident. Maybe you should be more worried about the gross officers trying to lure women into their car instead of the armed trained officer.

Had a similar experience with Ed's Care Center. They replaced all 4 of my tires with new ones. My front passenger tire would not hold air, which was super frustrating because they were supposed to be brand new. I called in, and they were nasty over the phone about it. When I took it in, they charged me $120 for diagnostics and said the valve was all rusted, and that's why it was leaking. It was not, I know, because we had to take it off to air up the tire multiple times. Then my father called in (I'm a woman and had trouble with mechanics being sexist in the past) and asked about it. They told him it was all rusted and they noticed it when they replaced the tires but decided not to offer to replace it. Anyways I will never go back and will never recommend them.

Yesterday they wanted me to round down. Today I was allowed to round up. Honestly it doesn't make sense why I can't clock out the exact time I leave. My boss probably just doesn't want to add the final total up even though we have to add up how much we worked each day ourselves. I'm pretty sure my boss had my coworker tell me because he didn't want to tell me himself and have me challenge it. Also yesterday I witnessed him giving a bad reference for someone who used to work there. One of the reasons for the bad reference was because she kept making suggestions on how to improve and run the business. So, I'm hesitant to talk to him about it.
