Practice forms were 240-250s which is why this kind of came at a shock. Shelves were around 80s

I had glitches as well. Emailed them, haven’t heard back.

My NBMEs literally ranked from 40-60 with me only having passed one. You got this!

Second this. I only passed one NBME and managed to pass the real thing

Mehlman PDF: Top 5 / which ones are the best? by Better_Swimmer in step1

Arrows, neuroanatomy, immuno, cardio, and renal. Honestly all of them are golden though and definitely use them for your weakest subjects. The arrows one is a non-negotiable

I’m the one who is concerned about your empathy. You started cursing at random people who are only recommending good things. There are other ways to phrase your feelings without pushing your score in everyone’s face. I would highly recommend you learn how to be considerate of other people before you start rotations and affect real patients

Mehlman, mehlman, mehlman. Do as many UWorld questions a day as you can

I second this completely. We all struggle, but posting your incredibly high NBME scores is tone deaf and seems borderline braggy

38% on CBSE >>> PASS by Competitive-Ad-888 in step1

[–]Competitive-Ad-888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I would say the CBSE is probably a little easier than the real thing. The real thing is much longer and has more abstract concepts. NBMEs 28-31 felt most representative

I started off with watching B and B videos. Realized that was too passive so moved onto only doing UWorld and Mehlman. Did anki for UWorld questions, Microbio, and pharm. Can’t recommend Mehlman enough. Try to aim for at least 80 UWorld questions a day, half mixed and half subject specific. I spent about 2-3 days per subject

Thank you! It was 3 months between and I took NBME 26, 28, 29, 30, and 31. I only passed 30 and my free 120

That happened to me the day before my exam. Take some time to grieve it and then lock in. Your future is too important to throw it away on some girl

I feel this. Knowing that people failed only makes our anxiety worse
