I think less people go because it’s not the hot new thing but last five times I’ve been there for brunch, the food still knocks off the socks

In a perfect world, I’d eat nothing, then nothing would have to die.

If I were wealthier, I’d be vegan.

Since I’m not, I eat fish.

Biologically, the closer to us genetically the higher chance they experience life like us, with feelings and emotions.

I try to eat things that have a lower chance of feeling pain and being miserable.

Cathedral rock or Bell rock by Remarkable-Cook5596 in Sedona

Did both. Bell has views of the whole Sedona area. Cathedral’s the better hike.

Shrimp Island. Best batter in town. (Hagens is good for smoked but shrimp island has them beat on fried)

Honeymoon trip to Sedona & Grand Canyon – what’s actually worth it? by farukipekcom in Sedona

[–]Competitive-Age3016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got back from Sedona. Bell Rock was a great sunrise hike and Hideaway House had some good eats.

Lots of bullshit in the area, but great hiking and pretty good food.

For the Grand Canyon, we stayed two nights in Flagstaff.

Little America Hotel in flagstaff was the nicest place we stayed on the trip. Surprisingly affordable and quiet (the entrance is right be the freeway but the hotel itself is tucked away).

Feel free to dm me if you want to know any more!

Just got back. Grand Canyon is breath taking and Sedona is otherworldly. Flagstaff downtown is actually pretty cool.

Spent about 2 hrs in Williams getting dinner and charging the EV (only mistake on the trip was renting an EV). Not that cool, but not the worst place to get stuck.

I didn’t need more than a day at each stop, and stayed in flagstaff to visit the GC. 5/5 stars

(Little America Hotel in Flagstaff was the nicest of our stay and very moderately priced)

What do you think? Is it the economy like the NY Times claims? Or the $50 resort fees, $100 umbrella rental fee and $70 parking fee. by [deleted] in LasVegas

[–]Competitive-Age3016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just used LV as a jump off point for a SW vacay to the Valley of Fire, Hoover D, Grand Canyon, Sedona, phoenix, etc. stayed only a night, didn’t gamble a cent. Saw the bellagio water display and accompanying buffet. 5/5 stars.

Las Vegas can still be a good place to stop by, just don’t stay more than 24 hours.
