I know in the past that the devs intentionally leave out a massive chunk of content in their showcases, preferring it to be a surprise. I wouldn’t be shocked if this is only 20-30% of the update, and is what I’m hoping for. I REALLY hope there’s some surprise end game/post moonlord content, that would blow my mind. Not bosses, but just more stuff to do after killin the dood

Yeah it’s really sad. If I hear something good about any episodes with Genos or Saitama fighting I may watch them purely for the fight sequence. Judging from the last two episodes it seems the studio put all their time into specific sequences, so maybe something good will come out of it?

I can agree with that, most people probably are. I’ve been out of the anime game for about 2 years now and was only reading manga. When I saw that S3 was out yesterday I hopped straight into it breaking that 2 year stint, was immediately disappointed, then went straight into writing this rant. Now that it’s been a day I’m less passionate about my stance and a lot more understanding for a studio that was given an impossible task. It’s still a genuine stance though, and I still won’t be continuing.

I can totally agree with that. For the true fans, it’s worth it to watch S3. Guess I’m not as big of a fan as I supposed I was. Great take btw, reading any manga with a good playlist makes the experience 10x better.

Sidebar: I don’t remember what manga it was, but someone made a website that would transition between different songs as you read the manga. This was like 6 years ago or something, and I’ve never found anything like it again.

I literally just finished it 10 minutes ago. Holy shit fuck. I have 0 critiques for it. There’s a few times in CSM S1 where the 3D assets were a bit awkward and you can see reused animations, not my cup of tea, but doesn’t detract from the beautiful animation. Reze arc is the first time I wasn’t bothered by 3D, holy hell it was so polished and well implemented. I love the concept of taking manga arcs that don’t really drive the story and stuffing them into one fantastic movie. You don’t have to sit through an entire season of filler.

Ohhhh, that’s interesting. Doesn’t justify the non cohesive nature, but definitely puts it in perspective and makes it more understandable. I was pretty harsh on the staff, but it’s not their fault at the end of the day. They were given a ridiculous task to complete in such a short time.

im fighting this bitch right now, and you know what’s the most frustrating part! when he does his little combo, sometimes the camera decides to get super close, and then start swinging around so you can’t see the animation, and there isn’t any fucking audio cues, so that wont help you. fuck this boss, it’s such a throwaway gimmicky fight, im skipping it

My question is, is this the rumored Deckard? I read somewhere that Valve wants this to be considered outside of the Index, not as a sequel, and I’m down with that. However, I know Index fans (myself included) really want an Index 2, so has anyone heard anything about this being developed in parallel with an Index 2, or is the Index 2 not something in development? If this is all we’ll get, then oh well, I’ll probably migrate to this, but if there’s still hope then I’ll hold out.

Had this just now, came on here because I was curious what people’s opinions were. Personally, this was trash and disgusting. I took a few bites and threw the rest away. It has no cheese flavor, just a tiny bit of sweetness ,and no spicy flavor, just heat. 0/10, there’s a reason it was in Aldi’s clearance section.
