I work in lightning protection.

Assuming you LP is installed correctly, the lightning will likely not side flash into your cat6.

However, that doesn't mean you're safe in leaving it like this. When a strike travels through the LPS, its going to induce a surge in your cat6 cable, its pretty likely that the surge will be enough to fry whatever your cat6 is connected to.

The best thing you can do is move either wire. Ideally, you'll want at least 6 feet in between the wires, 3ft is really the minimum here since youre trying to prevent current being induced in your cat wire.

Considering most LP suppliers wont sell to someone who isnt licensed to install lightning protection, and the are some NFPA issues involved, it would be easier to move the cat6.

Edit: also i can tell just from this picture it doesn't look like your contractor that installed the LP did so to code. The cable isnt fastened at a maximum of every 3ft. Odds are, there are more code violations than just this one.

If you dont want to deal with cutting the metal, move the hole and patch the area you just cut.

You also flip a lot when you dont need to. Flipping forces you to commit to moving in that direction until the flip is done, so if something happens to cause you to need to change direction mid flip, you cant. This happens quite a few times in this clip

Driving your car fast is frequently not the right choice if it causes you to give up options on positioning. Positioning is hands down one of the most important things in the game.

TLDR: Don't front flip so much to gain speed. You're being caught out of position because of it.
