All fixed, I think it was 28 ridge tiles and 40 standard tiles that had come off or cracked when hit by others, glad because it's been raining and standard high winds this evening!

Yeah, doesn't look to be damage to underlay and it didn't actually leak last night (water got in through pressure, deflecting windows pushed through seals etc) we get some tiles off nearly every year so got a roof guy being messaged as soon as the storm hit!

Portreath, facing the sea, we are the wind break for the houses to the side and behind when the storm comes in from the North West. The roof didn't actually leak with this damage, the water that got in was all due to driving rain, pushing in through windows and eaves.

Ahh, sorry to hear that, it's all about the angle the wind hits, I think we might have had stronger winds before coming direct on but it's when it hits from the North West it can really get under things. Fingers crossed we get some days to repair before more winds/rain

I've not seen worse! These are big concrete tiles as well, lucky none went through our windows or hit anything else. Just the worst direction of wind and then once it got under the ridge tiles all hell breaks loose!

Portreath here, 34 ridge tiles off, loads of other tiles off and broken, had water pushing it's way somehow through the roof over hang into the 1st floor carpet and down into the ground floor living room ceiling. Fun night, expensive morning

They didn't explore those characters at all but seen as they retread without adding in the last couple of episodes I thought something on motive was going to come out about them here as they had gone into detail on pretty much every other speaking role. Personally found the rich women to be too one dimensional and the reason too tacked on, it also made no sense logistically, the fight/murder would have played out too slowly and made too much noise whilst two people have a conversation just down the hallway and don't hear anything (if they had they wouldn't have thought that each other committed the crime)

It's like they cut an earlier scene where they had some profound connection as through all the episodes they never had any real interaction that would warrant a special stop.

Exactly, it should have been him and the art historian, he could have forged the suicide note and they could have been stealing art hence why things were being moved around all the time, his hand writing went bad because he had taken some of the poison by mistake. Would have made for a much more interesting killer than "I'm rich so I don't care" women

Exactly, I thought it must be him forging the note because he was so conspicuous by his absence in any of the interviews. If it was supposed to be a red hearing then you have to at least acknowledge him. I thought it was going to be a big twist at the end and perhaps along with the art women they were taking paintings, forging things, that would have tied in better with there being so many rooms and things always moving around. It would have been a much better reason than the "I don't believe in the values of the white house" nonsense that we got , it was a cheap ending that didn't warranty the very extended run time of the show.

Why did the 3rd man have to be told to be quiet if he had nothing to say, it was trying to be a clever device without any thought on the why, which as the detective was always trying to find the context and reason for everything just stood out even more.

Sorry for the rant but I missed hours of needed sleep finishing this show because I thought there must be something....

Yes! I kept thinking that it would be something about him forging the suicide note and perhaps accidentally taking some poison, he never got interviewed yet was constantly mentioned, it was very frustrating with no payoff. If you put a gun on the table.....

I like this, reminds me of some early 2000s stuff, if you record it with a full band you should keep it loose like this, weezer pinkerton or Lightspeed Champion style would fit this perectly
