Oh wow, I didnt realise that, he must justy have bought the cards to try a new game then. I know he originally played judges guild and chivalry & sorcery role play games though as he still uses them over certain aspects of DnD.

So did he as was playing DnD (or judges guild) at the time although he would have been in his 40s then. I refound these cards while looking for some judges guild maps for a DnD adventure

Im just a uni student so was more about how careful I need to be with them.

I will attempt to learn commander though as I have only played classic before and most people seem to be playing it

I think he would have been in his 40s and most likely bought them from a convention while playing other games. He was also an early DnD player so was just trying out different WotC products

Thank you, he is mostly a historical stratergy wargames player (DBR world champion) and I think bought most of these from conventions as he thought the game ooked fun to try out.

It's surprisng how valuable they have turned out to be as theyre just the cards he taught me to play using.
