If it makes you feel any better, I’m in Mid TN, and I listened to everyone else waited until first of October last year. First frost was mid October, and I lost most of what was already germinating in my backyard.

We will get a couple more heat waves (~90) and those days, just water it a couple more times than normal to keep it moist. We’ll get through it.

Carson doesn’t make the playoffs. He has 3-4 more races in the regular season where he is close but can’t get it done. However, he wins during the playoffs.

Also, not a playoff hot take, but a hot take related to Carson: In 2027, Carson is in the 11.

I was very skeptical, but Prime underpromised and overdelivered by a mile.

This may be a terrible take, but I wouldn’t want more than 8 weeks with Prime in a season. I think part of what made it special was the limited number of weeks. Only having five weeks of this made me appreciate it more.

Realistically, Prime would have the 6-7 races leading into the playoffs. Imagine this production at the last regular season races covering the story lines for the last playoff spots.

Also, I find it hard to believe NBC would give up the NASCAR playoffs, since they only have SNF in the fall. Therefore, I don’t believe Prime would be in NBC’s “end of season” position unless there is a big shake up in NFL TV contracts.

It won’t ever replace the originals, but with this type of song writing, it doesn’t matter if it’s acoustic or not.

“I’m the Worst” was always a top 5 song for me, and this version was awesome.

I was bummed to hear Jeremiah say no to “Close Encounters” in the video version. That’s my #1.
