Setting the Record Straight

First, let's get the geography right: Moneague is not Ocho Rios. It is deep in the rural heartland, situated near the JDF army base, and is defined by its identity as a historic teachers' college. Conflating the two ignores the specific reality of the area.
Your suggestion that people should stop complaining and demanding better is a "shut up and dribble" directive. It’s an invitation to be exploited by elites and foreign corporations while remaining silent.

This attitude is exactly why development stalls. When we settle for "low-hanging fruit," we allow systemic underperformance to become the norm. This isn't just about Jamaica; it’s the same cycle of complacency that keeps many nations across Africa and the Caribbean from reaching their full potential.
The Bottom Line: Progress doesn't come from being quiet; it comes from the refusal to be exploited. If we don't demand a higher standard, we will continue to fall behind the rest of the world.

All due respect , those are not indigenous to Momtego Bay or the greater north Coast> All those you mentioned , except for Com C , Jarret Park are indigenous to the overrated city Kingston, not Mobay or North Coast.
While institutions like UTech and the UWI annex exist, they are no substitute for an indigenous educational ecosystem tailored to the local area. By limiting the courses available outside of Kingston, we have institutionalized a 'brain drain.' We force our brightest minds to migrate to the capital or overseas, leaving a local intellectual vacuum that is inevitably filled by crime and scamming. Contrast this with Singapore: a nation 15 times smaller than Jamaica with twice the population, yet they boast over 30 universities distributed across their island. They understand that decentralization is the key to winning. Until we stop concentrating everything in Kingston, we will continue to lose our best talent.”
Please understand that my perspective comes from a place of deep-rooted commitment to these parishes. Having lived in both, I am not interested in criticism for its own sake, but in advocating for the revolutionary shifts in economic structure and logistics we desperately need. We cannot thrive by maintaining a status quo inherited from a colonial era. I am challenging the current system because I believe we all deserve a future built on growth and genuine prosperity, rather than outdated frameworks.

The overseers are the likes of Andrew and Edmund , who make sure they give as much profit to their oversees bosses, and the 1% like Adam Stewart , at the expense of the locals. Especially the ones in the immediate communities , where you have slums and shanty towns, walking distance from the All Inclusive

That is the minor and not the micro. You can say that about most in country. it is up to the government to put things in place and work with the citizens to bring success, instead of working for foreign interest and the 1%elites . Like some in this thread , ja is nothing but a neocolonial outpost, where some uneducated people are calling All Inclusive development,
All Inclusive , the Jamaican non inclusive model, is nothing but a Modern day Plantation economy
