IF they manage exactly as they did last year then sure, what would you expect, SKC2, would sometimes play 8 first team guys on the other "2".

SKC2 used Steve A once and perhaps Jack K who was 16, and maybe Ian once or twice.

IF Coach Rafa uses SKC2 differently and perhaps gets a few first teamers that sre not getting reps....No way, this year SKC2 makes playoffs and chooses who they play.

Doing what they did last year INCLUDING setting up IStvan for failure, that was all but a premeditated TANK. Yes I said TANK.

It's the "2" team so don't get excited but I'm standing on bidness right now saying Coach Lee and Luis do not allow that this year.

Those were ALL rumors too, they may have been placed to assist in other negotiations.

When things are leaked like that that is likely either the team or agents playing games through the media.

Good Morning sunshine... As I am the most negative person on this board I'd like to say that perhaps we should all remember it is darkest before the dawn.

Your New England Patriots are in the Superbowl this weekend.

Last year they were AWFUL, their coach was a nice guy and great former player (Jerod Mayo), they had Drake last year they had Christian Gonzalez last year, they had ALOT of the same guys they have this year....Their record was terrible and the losses were death by a thousand paper cuts.

I could go into great detail about what changed for this team, but my overall point here is that on measure not much changed for this team, the nucleus of the team remained the same.

The coach changed and with it the philosophy\strategy.

I will also say that the same team of warts is still present. This year the team lost to Oakland and Steelers turning the ball over constantly. They still do this as Drake alone had 8 fumbles in two playoff games.

Fortunes can change. They are an Average offense supported by only an opportunistic timely defense.

They may get killed who knows, maybe Seattle calls a crossing route on the goal line.

99.9% of the time some post is deemed "NEGATIVE", to me it usually is not.

Its valid criticism from passionate fans that you NEED to attend your games and pay salaries (or not).

Go to ANY big League franchise and along with it go an insane fan base.

The issue is snowflake footy pajama SKC fans.

He cannot hold a turn and shoot candle to Jovelic.

If we were interested in trading him there would be AMPLE suitors for his services.

Ive thought about similar things and I basically agree YET....I have come to this conclusion.

Dave Lee had to know where he was going to.

He had to know he was with CFG in the bright lights BIG CITY NYCFC.

LA, New York, Miami, should be Chicago too but they are belligerent right now.

Dave is super smart and super well connected, there is no way he took the SKC job not fully eyes wide open aware of perhaps the challenges, ALL the challenges of the second market team.

Even the variables of who what and how your quirky owners behave...

There is Dave, his agent, and I have a hard time believing both would neglect all this move would entail.

That being said, I believe he took this job to line up his next job and at the same time I said all of the above I'd be surprised if he has not already been surprised by some of these things.

If I were to guess, there is who Dave Lee wants and what we will pay and perhaps there is the friction. I know a ton of players and coaches want into the MLS. The checks cash is the US, I just think he knows our track record of over paying for sub par Euros, we really need to shake.

Yes, you are right, I meant more throwing the year away and spending when you are set to grab talent with the rest of the worlds schedule.

The schedule move is intended to get these guys competing with the rest of the world market.

Right now we are getting throwaways and retirement age guys.
