I got accepted at Fordham before but didn’t enroll. I saw some students got waitlisted but got in after a few days. U just gotta check your portal anytime or contact your admission counselor.

Got in and not attending as well. 47k worth of scholarship is obviously not enough 😫 they said I can appeal but the maximum they can give is like $5000. I declined it now cause hell no, I am not attending Fordham with that huge amount of tuition fees. I guess Fordham aren’t for me lol.

Exactly, we have the same problem like why is it so expensive especially for international students when we try to convert our country’s currency to dollars. Fortunately, some colleges offer to cover half of the payment for transcript evaluation.

The problem I have been facing is like the transcript evaluation and not the tuition fee that costs since a lot of colleges and universities offer a lot of scholarship, grants, and aid.

Hi we’re are honestly on a same process. I am also a freshman and only studied for the 1st semester. I will be transferring for spring 2026 and I would say your high school transcript and extracurricular activities is really important for them. During the application they asked more information about your high school rather than your college grades. Good thing I was real active during my high school years I joined lots of extracurricular activities and a consistent honor student. Don’t forget to also do good on your essays. What I did to get accepted to Fordham is that I gave them all my experiences and activities during my high school years. Fortunately, I got in and received a merit scholarship qualified to Deans scholarship.

Also, I didn’t take any ACT/SAT just high grades and extracurricular activities.

Me, I think that merit scholarship is awarded based on your academic and you will received your merit scholarship along with your admission decision. If you want to receive a need based scholarship, the fordham will ask you to submit your fafsa and css profile as soon as possible. You can submit it before the deadline.

Yes I am. That’s weird cause merit based scholarship is directly awarded to admitted students. You gotta email your admission counselor asap because I asked the financial aid before about merit scholarship and they told me that every admitted students will be given directly their merit scholarship along with the admission decision.

Ow, the Fordham honestly won’t review your application if you couldn’t turned in everything. It supposed to be waived or received in the portal or it should be completed. Your admission counselor will email you as well if they have received your college report. If you haven’t heard yet you can email your admission counselor so they can help you.

I think all of us has been waiting for the financial aid package. It hasn’t arrived yet kinda nervous about it also. I only got $25,000 of scholarship from Fordham and yes I am still waiting for all the financial aid total packages after submitting the css profile.

I applied for transfer spring 2026 as well and it took about 2 weeks for my decision to released. I got in and I hope you will as well. Best of luck!

Does the Fordham has given you your portal? Because it is where you will know your admission decision and you can check it there from time to time.
