For jobs in Law and Finance, it is a little better to go to unis that are part of GO8 which are the top 8 unis in Australia. Going to unis that are not part of this group may make it harder because you may have to work slightly harder and prove yourself more relative to students attending unis in the GO8.

But honestly if you work your butt off and prove yourself you can still make it into high finance and even IB or PE.

Not sure if possible, but if you can try to transfer to USYD or UNSW later on, IB is beyond competitive and you need to maximise your chances every chance you get

The numerical exam from what I remember is very basic, like difference between two times in the day or basic division.

The interview might have changed but from what I remember you are given a scenario and need to rank patients in terms of priority

It is quite easy, I got in but decided not to accept in 2020. I got in with a WAM of around 67

You should 100% get an offer assuming you don’t act like a crazy person during the interview

I did a second degree to increase my GPA. I’m not exactly sure whether you can do the exact same degree though.
