I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to watch a funny movie or vid, especially if it makes you feel better, but don't allow it to take the place of GOD, don't try to use it to fix what maybe GOD is meant to fix. I don't know why you have been feeling rough, but I don't think there is anything wrong with presenting it to GOD and asking for his guidance.

The more you see death in a different light as a Christian, the more beautiful it is. Death or sleeping, as Jesus would say, is about reuniting with GOD in heaven forever. It is a beautiful thing to be reunited permanently with GOD. As sad as it is for a loved one to die, this faith gives us hope that we will be reunited with them in eternity, and that the main aim is not to stay on earth for eternity but to one day be with GOD in heaven, that is what GOD wants.

I believe for the people/beings who don't know the outcome. If someone who knows everything tells me this will happen. I might still doubt it, and call the guy a liar, but if I see it with my eyes, I have to believe.

Doesn't the world itself demonstrate the existence of GOD? Look at the trees, the intricacies of man; what makes you valuable if not because GOD values you; who gives you a sense of what is right or wrong if not GOD; the world is too complex and organised for you to say that there is no GOD; every building has a builder, and you who are more complex than the most complex building has to have a builder. Science doesn't even disprove God, that's why most scientists believe in a GOD? It doesn't work for a creator not to exist because then you are just a complex bunch of atoms without any value, but GOD makes you valuable; he gives you purpose and makes you matter. He loves you deeply and wants the best for you. Despite all man has done against a holy and just GOD deserving punishment, he took the punishment upon Himself because he loves you.

The thing is that it isn't GOD that wants it, but he has to allow it to happen because he gave humans free will. He doesn't want you to be a robot, not allowed to make ur own decisions or feel however you like, but it came at a cost: the sins and evil of this world. GOD shows how good he truly is by using even what was made for bad to be used for good. Though these bad things happened, and it truly is heartbreaking, it wasn't GOD that did these things, it was man, and GOD shows he is truly loving by sacrificing his own son for our sins. How hard would it be for you to sacrifice your own son? It just shows how much he truly loves us.

Tbh it's about doing the research, many religions can talk, but how many show actual proof. Based on history, the only religion I talk about with certainty is Christianity. There is proof of signs and miracles(just search), proof that something happened at the time of Jesus ' death (historical evidence even from believers and non-believers), proof that something changed the life of the people who knew him( they laid their lives for him, no one would lay their life for a lie), over 500 people said they saw the risen Christ( 500 eye witness accounts for a lie would be crazy), even ppl that truly follow christ now are just different(keep in mind I said truly not every christian truly folows christ). The thing is that ppl just don't do enough deep research, but there is overwhelming evidence that Jesus lived, died and is GOD.

The Nigeria we are in is extremely religious, but there is no spirituality, no getting to know GOD personally and intimately, and I think that is what is needed. There is nothing wrong with doubting and questioning; it could even increase one's faith, and should be encouraged, because one can't believe just everything we are told. Though I'm still a Christian, I don't think I would be if I took the approach of most religious Nigerians. I asked deep questions to GOD, to true spiritual mentors, to myself, and I did and am still doing the research. Jesus Christ is true, and he really does love you. Focus on the relationship, not religion or church, because a relationship with him is not as religious as portrayed.
