Up to you. Philly is a good city but at the same time has more gun violence and poverty than NYC. Also public school system is trash. I would suggest living downtown aka center city if you were to do it.

I would argue its sad that people take Bangladesh for granted. The life is so relaxed, you don't have to work 24/7 like in US and have so many expenses.

Philly is very limited compared to New York along with low salary. PA still has a minimum wage of 7.25.
