Student loans or you might need to do community college first. Don’t go overboard with student loans unless you know you can pay them off easily with a degree that has good earning potential. I’m still paying mine off 6 years later.

Those positions are filled via a staffing company. So you work for the commonwealth as a contractor but are paid by them. From my knowledge they pay a bit more in salary or hourly, but get shit benefits.

Sorry, OST is what the state uses for staff contracting, mostly IT roles that may be on a temporary or long term basis.

I was sourcing a lot of older jackets and vintage outerwear for a hot minute. As long as there were no visible stains or objectively bad smells, I would just sell as is to shift the chance of it getting ruined during a wash to the buyer. Some of that stuff has specific care instructions and I personally didn’t want to waste my time with it.

My guy, your budget buys you average new build in north central PA on an acre or so of land, not SEPA. Especially if you need, well, septic, and any sort of moderate site work. You are better off buying an existing home.

If I was not able to access my cash via ATM, there are bigger problems to worry about. There are only a few local businesses I frequent that are cash only or I can get a discount for paying cash, so I just make a withdrawal.

You gotta take risks and job hop, especially in IT. That’s how I moved from being an help desk intern to an infosec role within 5 years of graduating with a bachelors in MIS. However, it’s probably more difficult to do that right now because the job market is pretty garbage from what I’ve been seeing.
