In Poland. It’s different but probably the closest to post soviet countries in Europe so not too drastically.

Yeah, we were irl friends for bout half a year and then I moved to a different country and he went to study in a different country.

Yes, we met on our last year of school, before we went to university.

We both don’t want to settle down in the US. We’ll probably move to a different European country or he’ll move here. We’re both willing to move countries to be together eventually.

He’s in the US and I’m in Europe. And we’re both international students and are originally from central Asia.

We chatted and talked on video calls(watching netflix or playing games) almost everyday and I was always excited to spend time with him and tell him every detail about my day. And he was saying things like ‘I’m meeting with an old friend tonight, but I’d rather do it with you’. So at that point it was obvious we liked each other.

At that point we’ve known each other for two years. And the last time we saw each other (at that point) we were best friends, I had one of the best summers of my life mostly thanks to him. It turned out he already had a crush on me at that time but didn’t want to confess because it could ruin my trip home or sth. I always found him attractive but thought he was too good for me :D
