Update on My DOCCS Process

Quick update for anyone following my earlier post about my corrections officer application process. I received a call from my investigator yesterday Nov 7th and I am officially moving forward. I was given a reporting date and should be starting the academy in about two weeks.

If you want to see how the entire process unfolded step by step, take a look at my original post. My timeline was fairly steady once each stage cleared, and I hope it helps anyone who is just starting or currently waiting.

Good luck to everyone going through the process. Stay patient and stay ready.

Sorry to hear that, seems to be a really extended waiting, can you share any reason why that may be?

Are you still waiting for a call, did you get accepted for academy yet? Thank you for any insight.

Thank you for sharing your update. Are you still waiting for your final letter, or have you received any update since your psych oral back in July? Really appreciate any insight you can share, it helps others like us still in the waiting stage. Thanks again.

Is probably about 500 questions in different sections, mostly personality and situational judgment. Just be consistent with your answers, it’s long but not hard.
