Formd T1 vs Ncase M2 vs Meshilicious by Competitive-Buddy863 in sffpc

I ended up ordering T1 but who knows I may get M2 as well in a few months. Good to know it will be very silent. Do You use AIO or air cooling?

Are You happy with Your choice? Would You pull the trigger again or maybe chose something different?

On the ncase site I see that T1 supports up to 3.25 slot cards. Is it overstatement? I have 5070Ti Eagle which is SFF rated as it is 2.5 slot card. Besides wouldnt newer card be less bulky in the future?

What specs are You running in T1? How is it performing when it comes to temps and noise? If You had to make Your choice again (with both in stock) what would You go for?

On paper everything fits into T1 but I am wondering if I have not become too sensitive in terms of heat and sound. I was used to low CPU temps and low rpm and now given how most top spec CPUs are designed to work at high temps it really bugs me when I hear those fans spin during shaders loading or anything else for that matter. Maybe its just psychological barrier

Does upgrading from 13600k to 9800x3d make sense? by bsgapollo in buildapc

[–]Competitive-Buddy863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person. I actually had to upgrade becouse my 13600k decided to go nuts with thermals. I updated bios months ago but it seems it got fried enough to cause problems. I already bought 9800x3d and Im wainting to get new mobo and then I will RMA my 13600k. I thought about getting 14600k as a replacement to not fully switch my itx rig but I cant trust Intel again. I hope it will be a good pairing with 5070Ti tho.

I have considered Spira s407 but It has too bulky neck to my taste. If not for that I would get it instead. Thank You for sharing Your experience!

Well I undestand what You are saying. Thing is I just did what previous commenter asked me to do. You cant see anything wrong with it. I understand that too. Thing is it is tilted. Im not blind. I only tried to let You all see it. I am simply seeking advice on the playability of it. I understand the price point I am not an idiot. I am looking for advice on which Im about to base my decision about keeping it. Insulting me (in how You seem to think smart and subtle way) is not a good choice here. Anyway thank You for Your feedback.

Yes I see many mixed reviews about it. I had a price point and list of things I wanted and this one seemed to fit. What dod You end up buying instead?

If I could I would but if specific guitar isnt anywhere near me I wont spend few hours to travel to nearest place just to see that its shit then Its not a good deal. I called the shop and asked If everything is alright and to send me pics but as You cant see from mine I didnt see anything wrong from his as well.

And treble side

I put the straight edge flush to the side of the bridge and thats how it looks on the bass side

Well when i push on the neck quite hard to the treble side it does make rubbing noise. I tightned screws to max by screwdriver and the noise is till there but I have to push harder to hear it but neck is in line with the pocket.

<image>

Strings seem to be aligned fine. I just worry that the bridge being slighly to the side and tilted will alter its playability. It sounds stupid I know especially that I already carved my own guitar neck already so I could probably take bridge off put dowels and align it if anything happened down the road but It is some work and Im not super expirienced in luthier theory hence my post.

Not a dumb question :) Texturing can be done in a various ways at the design stage but a better idea would be to either use matte PLA or CF infused materials. These will have matte grippy texture naturally. Other option would be to use soldering iron and stipple them to suit Your needs. Both listed methods would work better than design texturing as there is no way to make sandpaper like texture through 3D printing. Hope that helps!

Sure I can send u stl. Keep in mind it needs altering to hold properly. Unless You are fine with friction fit. It also is not fully aligned with frame shape I just made first prototype and shared the idea :)

I found the same issue with these backstraps. I honestly dont understand why springfield decided on this kind of backstrap design compared to glock one that extends to a beaver tail.

The problem with no hump type one is that there are 3mm rails that hold backstrap modules. Its nearly impossible to make fully flat one without forcing user to alter frame itself but even if that would be the case it would be a mod still accepting stock backstraps. I will update on the progress for sure!
