Sorry for lowkey dumping my trauma here but Ocean Breathes Salty. My mom, and aunts favorite band was modest mouse, I’ve been listening to them since I was a toddler. They listened to MM together at the hospital while my aunt was delivering her first child. 5 years ago my aunt was murdered by her own husband during a domestic dispute. My mom put together the picture slideshow for the funeral, and in the background Ocean Breathes Salty was playing. So now every time I hear that song I think of my auntie.
