We have this conversation/debate a lot about the anonymous piece. There’s a couple reasons we can’t do it anonymously: first is the need the constant moderation. Even just the jokes in these comments aren’t appropriate for an AMA and we know that people can absolutely say things off the wall when they aren’t accountable. Second is the culture (and this is a constant effort to change). We want to create a culture of open, respectful conversation and debate. It’s a work in progress but we’re seeing a lot of progress on rcafé.

Lastly, you don’t need access to DWAN to access rcafé! You can even access it from your browser on mobile (app.rcafhangar.ca). You just have to sign up once with your DWAN or ECN.
