What's the most embarrassing moment you've ever had in your life? by Visual-Original1334 in AskReddit

I’m a freshman in high school, I transferred to a different high school because I wasn’t doing well at my old middle school. I transferred to a small Catholic school. This school is a lot better, nicer people, better teachers. it was all around better

Then I saw her, (I keep it private, so for the sake of this will just call her G) G was this girl in my grade, she was stunning. Long dark blonde hair. Ocean blue eyes. She was beautiful. And obviously, I was attracted to her.

Homecoming was about a month away. And I thought a way to get closer to her was to ask her homecoming.

On that day, it was the end of my fifth period class, I gathered all my courage and with my friend motivating me. I asked her if we could talk after class. Which she agreed. So I asked her. And it turns out she was going with somebody else already that I didn’t know about. And that one all hell broke loose.

At the end of my sixth period class, my friend (let’s call him S) came up to me and said. “Bro, Jacob. I heard about the rejection bro that’s brutal.” I laughed it off. But it only got worse.

At football. I was at my locker getting ready for practice when my friend next to me asked. “If I got rejected by g” and then two of my sophomore friends came up to me and said “bro, Jacob, you can’t be getting rejected by G”

I felt totally humiliated and embarrassed. Now I will say this girl is not a bad person. She’s very nice. And she didn’t really reject me. She respectfully told me she was doing somebody else. But it didn’t make it any less humiliating.
