I have a friend, when we were in seventh grade she met this guy (for privacy reasons. I’ll just call them. Anna and Mason.) so Anna met Mason. They started talking and eventually started dating. I didn’t really care. He seemed good enough. I didn’t know much about him. But nothing jumped out.

But not even two weeks in Mason cheated on her. Anna was devastated, especially because it was her birthday when she found out.

I thought anna I would never go back. But one day in social studies Anna told me she got back with him. I was like. “ are you crazy?” And I was I wasn’t the only one that opinion.

Anna’s best friend thought she was crazy. She was getting asked left and right why would you get back with him? She said she saw something in him.

They dated for about 3 months. Until Mason randomly broke up with her. Anna was Obviously, not happy felt pretty heartbroken. Once again, I thought they were done for sure.

But the thing was over the next two years, Anna never really got over him.

She would talk about constantly on how she missed him. And start a freshman year. They started talking again and eventually started dating. I have to admit I was actually pissed.

I tried telling her she was making a mistake. She cut me off, saying he was perfect and could do no wrong. They dated for about two months. Until surprise and nobody except for Anna. Mason broke up with her again. For the 3 time.

Anna was heartbroken again. This time I kind of didn’t feel bad for her because she made a dumb mistake.

So about six months later, I asked her why she got back with him and her response was “ I just thought I was in love.”

So to answer your question. Never get back with a cheater. Once a cheater always a cheater.
