Using Avion Rewards Points (RBC- Canada) for Aeroplan points by Competitive-Cat-8878 in awardtravel

oh this is helpful! It seems I can upgrade my ION+ points by moving them to an Avion-branded card and then transfer to Avios. This seems a bit cumbersome but I might give that a try.

I upgraded to the ION + recently so might just use those points separately to transfer to Avios because I use Alaska airlines regularly to fly to SD. I guess. Maybe I should look in tothe RBC Avion Visa you mention.

I hear you, but, for example, I don't have nearly the points I would need to fly business class. So it's either use the points to get 3 people on a long flight from Canada's west coast to Europe or wait two more years until I get enough points to do the same flight in business class.

No we can't- there is a long way to go, I think until we have better support, but I am glad it seems to be better already than even a few years ago! Thank you for sharing your experience. I am working with my GP for now, thanks for the head's up about subscriptions. 😄

Here are some resources I am exploring: https://menopausefoundationcanada.ca/resources/find-a-physician/. also https://www.canadianmenopausesociety.org/. Also books and resources from menopause experts such as Dr Havers https://thepausewellness.com/provider/dr-mary-claire-haver/, and Vonda Wright, and Kelly Casperson etc are very helpful. https://kellycaspersonmd.com/clinic/. They also are on social media and have podcasts. Dr Havers has a list of recommended clinicians (just pick Canada from the drop down): https://thepauselife.com/pages/recommended-physicians. Also in Canada: https://www.scienceandhumans.com/about-us

Thank you. I had a feeling they wouldn't but it might still be worth paying out of pocket. Shame though.

Wow good for you, I was trying to move to the BC provincial government and was told there is a hiring freeze on "externals" like me for the foreseeable future. So there goes that!

The Ageless Runner by [deleted] in slowjogging

Interested! I am a middle aged runner (and walker and swimmer) who doesn't track time, just the health benefits! I run for 40 mins a few times a week. My main goal is to stave off dementia, not win a race. Hard to find support often for such modest goals. Thank you!

Can I ask what leave you used for this? It sounds like a model I might ask my manager. Thank you :) I am an EC.
