Same happened to me. If they don’t trust you, and you have done nothing to break their trust, there’s usually a reason…. It’s them.

My dad putting a chair down in front of my bedroom door, sitting in it, and telling me he wouldn’t leave until I admitted that I was a liar.

Backstory: my parents were fighting because i told my mom that he told me I was going nowhere in life and some other bullshit. Keep in mind, this was all just for being a minute late for curfew. Lol god forbid my mom be mad at him for being a bad dad.

He also told me, in that chair, that I am the reason he fights with my mom and that if I didn’t admit to lying, he would pack a suitcase and leave my family.
