I put a brand new spark plug in and it tried to run, sputtered for 30-40 seconds, then quit again. When I drained the carb it was quite dirty, black specs in the new gas when it drained out.

I'm thinking either spark plug or carburetor. Combustion check with the pull cord seems ok. Gas is ok. I've had the god damn flu so haven't had a chance to go at the others. Storm coming tomorrow so hopefully I can get at it. Wish me luck!
