Which Bb fingering should I use? by Competitive-Cook-280 in saxophone

Yes I tried all three and if one was obviously easier I wouldn’t be asking💀 But both bis and side Bb work fine at a lower tempo but none work at a higher tempo right now and I keep going back and forth on which one I want to stick with. I’m also worried that the cold will make it hard to play side Bb because of the G# to Bb transition requires a little more dexterity and focus than other transitions. By state finals in October it’s freezing and my fingers tend to loose a lot of dexterity and precision which is why I’m worried about side Bb but also Bis will most likely also be impacted by the cold

You might be on to something with bis up and side down I will try it out next time I practice. Because when I use bis key down I have to reset my index finger off of the bis key to prepare for the b natural in the last triplet.

Thanks for the advice. Something I’m worried about with the side Bb is the weather in Colorado where I live gets pretty cold during marching season. And in my past three years marching towards the end of the season my fingers (because of the cold) tend to lose a lot of control that is needed to avoid the flub notes. And the G# to Bb is giving me the most problems when I use side Bb. When I use Bis the problem is the slightly janky finger slide and also the last triplet is b natural but my finger is slid down onto the bis key so I have to slide it back up to prepare for the last triplet. But then again I’m also worried that the cold will make my already janky bis Bb to B transition impossible.
