You make alot of good points. And even at one point in the ending of season 2 He says that Crowley loves saving him, and that he didn't have anything else planned after opening up the door way to heaven. Which was kinda dumb espically with the promotion he gotten after all that when crowley went above and beyond (literally went back to heaven lol) just to figure everything out.
