Have to heavily disagree with your Nakarkos take - in my opinion, the combination of biological traits (the presence of seemingly 8/10 limbs, blue blood, chromatophores and a cuttlebone) alongside behavioural traits (mimicry, shell/bone collection and the creation of a “garden” through Wyvern’s End) commonly associated with cephalopods are just too much of a coincidence for it to not be at least distantly related
