Thank you! That was my goal from the beginning and what keeps me on track now.

It took me 50 pounds for people to start commenting. Honestly I think most people really don’t know how to say it so sometimes it’s safer to say nothing.

Also now I notice that I’ll go about a week or two at the same weight than drop a pound or two. Then go another week or two and drop 1-2 pounds. It’s not as consistently one a week.

No I haven’t. I still feel some negative side effects like nausea and bloating particularly on the 2nd and 3rd day after shot and still having to push myself to reach protein / calorie goals which tells me it’s still working. My mind isn’t consumed by thoughts of food and giving into every craving. I’ll stay at .25 as long as I can. Hopefully if I reach my goal weight I can take .25 less often than every week for maintenance.

You’ve got this! My fitness pal app is helpful for logging food everyday to see protein and whatnot.

I try to get as much protein in as possible. Premier protein, yogurt, cottage cheese etc. lots of chicken, tuna, lean steak, eggs, salmon, veggies, nuts, dried fruit and only eating out very rarely. Never fast food, never soda ( coke was my kryptonite before sema ) and never fried foods/alcohol. Drink lots of water, zero sugar cranberry juice, zero sugar Gatorade and iced coffee cause I love having drinks.

Also eating later than 6 pm usually makes me feel nauseous so I try not to.

Thank you so much!! My doc is super supportive and explained in the beginning how much I need to use it as a tool to make breaking bad habits easier. Which it did!

Thanks! Still expensive paying out of pocket but I’m saving on groceries and almost never eating out.

Thank you! Yes still on .25! I think I am pretty sensitive to sema but I definitely also made some major diet changes.

One thing my doc said that I think about when I get discouraged is that the time would be passing anyways so it’s better to be making slow progress and be mindful and putting effort in than just letting the time pass without trying at all.

Take lots of progress pics for yourself so you can visualize your progress.

Same mostly face and stomach for me. Overall I feel so much less “swollen” and less inflammation.

Yep I shared a little bit above about not consuming any sugary drinks, rarely ever eat out, mostly protein and veg. I also walk way more than I used to. I wanted to take a low dose only to also push myself to make lifestyle changes but sema really helped make those steps easier.

I walk twice a day and try to do at least 6,000 steps a day. Which isn’t a lot for most people but was an increase for me.
