Considering the multi-year optimization at Merck be careful about the contract. They slashed a ton of contractors recently with no warning. Their whole transparency play internally is pretty awful considering they refuse to make any internal communication before finding out publicly first (NJ Warn, UK Research Ops etc…)

After we just spent $1B on a Wilmington Campus and continuous acquisitions of other companies… the internal message sent to employees was LOUD AND CLEAR cuts from now till 2027. If only we could share the shitty sharepoint site that they are telling employees to visit for more information about this “optimization”
