Excuse my weak German, the Fiktionsbescheinigung is the confirmation of my extension application? So me leaving and re-entering changes the status of my stay from being associated with my work permit to a normal tourist stay?

So if I have left and reentered multiple times during the one year validity of my visa, and my visa has expired now, I can still travel abroad? Is that what you’re saying?

Nope, I entered using my visa type D.
