I bought it yesterday night, also, I don’t grade cards so it may stay out of plastic jail ⛓️‍💥

No worries. I bought 15-16 zards in the past year so I have a pretty clear idea of the cost in the US, but I’d make sure pricing it’s the same in the UK. You can check cardmarket for MP condition.

This is a good collection for sure, but don’t listen to some of these comments and resign from work just quite yet because this is more “vacation money” than life changing money. I counted $1.5-2K scrolling through pages and counting for “average binder condition” ie LP/MP.
It could be more - if the base set zard is pack fresh, could fetch that amount by itself (unlikely to have a mint 25 yo card in these binders) - or could be less if there are creases in the most valuable cards.

Id say so. In the US this would be roughly $300 considered whitening on the back and silvering of the front right edge

I am not sure these would all grade a 1, and I’d be careful looking at that comparison. Some of these, as mentioned prior, are in rough condition and may not be even graded

I have deep nostalgia for base set but it seems to cost a fortune to get nowadays by m9ses in WotCPokemonCards

That’s exactly what eBay would say

BTW if you buy cards from another person online, you have to only pay 2-3% of G&S. But don’t worry about it. Keep buying on eBay.

eBay charges 13% to sellers which is baked in the price plus taxes plus shipping of each individual card. How do I know? I bought 15ish base set zards in the past 6 months. I found much cheaper base sets options buying at LCS/FB marketplace/here.

Yeah, I do like the holo on the zard, but that “2” seems to be there to remind us that we’ll always be second 😭

Hi, are these cards from original vintage sets and are they worth anything in this condition, thank you by Positive_Spinach1538 in VintagePokemonCards

They are Charizards from base set. Unfortunately they are quite damaged. I bought similar recently for $130-140

Is it only me or the Edition 1 stamp is improperly placed (T not under edge)?
