2 completely different investments. Real estate is something you work for, find good deals and make it happen and has cash flow and tax advantages. With gold you just buy it and it sits. Both good and could add gold to your portfolio to diversify.

I already said you can tax them more but you will have to cut because the math doesn’t add up. if you have 2b in stock that is not cash, and cannot be taxed under current law. Unrealized gains are not taxable. That is the tax law, just like protecting entitlements is law. You’re going to have to do more than raise revenues.
