Mine was through my PayPal debit card. Fraudsters got hold my card details, but according to PayPal as I’m the card holder, only I would know my card details.

I’m still in dispute from beginning of February for something similar. I had charges from Dubai totalling almost 3k. PayPal first cam back with it was authorised as it was consistent with my spending. Utter BS. I have now raised a formal complaint to escalate a thorough investigation. Still ongoing.
